Ibanez guitars have been a staple in the heavy metal community for many years. They continue to be a huge force in the metal, being very popular with some of today’s young metal musicians. The Ibanez s series guitars are some of the most played by many guitarists today like Ben Parrish and Scott Wilson of Demiricous, Jon Kita of Diecast, and Herman Li of Dragonforce. Let’s look into why this axe is used so much in heavy metal music today.

Immediately you will notice the stunning good looks of the Ibanez S470. This thing looks vicious and beautiful at the same time. The Blue Moon Burst looks awesome and the Red Viking looks like hot flames bursting forth. It ain’t just a looker though. This mighty axe has a Wizard II mahogany neck and a quilted maple top body. This will provide a shredding bright tone. It’s also boasts jumbo frets and a bound rosewood fingerboard. As every thrashing metal guitarist needs, the S470 has a locking tremolo for those huge dive bombs. This trem they call a Zero-Resistance locking tremolo which is supposed to be super smooth and blow away the Floyd Rose. Also the three stock pickups are getting a great response from the guitr community. Surely these impressive specs are attractive to Ibanez guitar dealers all over the country so it should not be a chore to find one. Ok it looks great and it has some cool features, but how does it sound?

The Ibanez S series guitars are mainly used as metal axes, so they sound bright and heavy. Also many guitarists are happy using this axe for rock and blues. The pickup combination allows for quite a range of tones from warm to ripping. The locking tremolo keeps the guitar in tune so it’s great for live appearances. Another thing you’re sure to notice about this instrument is it’s thin! And comfortable to play. If you consider yourself a metal player (or rock, blues, etc.) you owe it to yourself to try this axe at an Ibanez guitar dealer near you. I know budgets can be tight so used Ibanez guitars are good option when you are considering the S470, they shouldn’t be too hard to track down at a guitar shop online or around the corner. Pick one up. Play it!

    Dear Friends,

I am a guitarist from Bangladesh.I own a Ibanez RG350DX(which i brought from the US last year). But I am in serious need of a Ibanez S470 and my preference is The Blue Moon Burst.

I play in a lower string and fretboard alignment also not having any Fret buzz for fastness, swipings, and legato runs,Screaming. My musical preference is neoclassical ,Blues and hard Rock type music.

If I can arrange to have a payment method,Can I get the guitar here in B.D.

looking forward to hear from you.
    Regards
    Tamohar
