When you try an Ibanez guitar at your local guitar shop, you be amazed at the tone and clarity of these fine instruments. There’s no other axe quite like it. Try a low end model, try a high end model. You will be pleased with the quality in either case. You will begin to understand why so many guitarists of all stripes choose Ibanez.
Ibanez of course has many models to choose from. One of the most unique of the Ibanez line is the Steve Vai signature series (JEM7V etc). This guitar has a smooth contoured body with a handle carved in it. The shape provides easy access to all 24 frets. This model comes with installed DiMarzio Pickups with special Ibanez Spit 5 wiring. This will give super fat tone. This revolutionary guitar comes in 6 and 7 string models. The ultimate in versatility and heaviness.
Ibanez guitars are played by the most impressive guitarists in the world. None perhaps is more impressive than Joe Satriani. The JS series of guitars from Ibanez is a beast that can stand up to the tonal and touring requirements of master musician Joe Satriani. This the guitar Joe plays! It’s got a handy high pass filter to pump the highs even at lower volumes. DiMarzio pickups are available as well. The dynamic range and quality of this axe is exceptional. Clearly, this is one of the best Ibanez products.
The Andy Timmons AT300 is one of the sharpest and most handsome of the Ibanez line. Don’t let its looks distract you though, this thing packs a punch. Here’s another Ibanez that can deliver a massive range of tones and can be used for a variety of styles. Yes it’s another versatile Ibanez. The feel of this guitar is something special with its multi radius neck. You’ll certainly also love the Sperzel locking tuners and tear it up with the Wilkinson/Gotoh Tremolo.
The Mick Thomson Ibanez signature guitar is a classic looking axe with a solid neck thru construction. Talk about sustain! This six string beast will give in spades. The Edge FX bridge gives you double locking stability for added…yes you guessed it…sustain. Not only that, this is one heavy beast. It comes from the factory with a C# tuning with a dropped B. This guitar will crush. Certainly this is the heaviest of all Ibanez guitars.
