Ibanez JS20TH Anniversary Model

Ibanez has released a super cool JS signature guitar for the anniversary of Joe Satriani's Surfing with the Alien album and his relationship with Ibanez guitars. The Silver Surfer emblazoned guitar is really something to behold. This is one striking axe and really a deserved honor for Joe. Ibanez.com has a great video of excerpts from an interview with Joe and a clips from a special private concert satch did during NAMM 08 to celebrate the anniversary. He played the entire Surfing with the Alien album which is pretty friggin' cool. There were some hugely talented special guests like the awesome Marty Friedman and versatile Paul Gilbert. Herman Li was also there (clearly out of his league I must say). Also shown is Doug Doppler who I'm not familiar with but he's on Steve Vai's label and sounds pretty cool. This video is worth watching so check it out. You will be hungry for more of the concert footage though so don't say i didn't warn you (check you tube).
